Relationship Analyzer

Relationship Analyzer is a module that is designed to allow Relationship Managers (RM) to view and report on the performance of the relationships they manage. In addition, RA allows RMs to conduct “What If” analyses on the existing and potential performance of their individual client relationships—this feature most often serves as the bank’s commercial pricing model. RA can be installed in-house or web-hosted. This data mart of profitability information is also designed to work directly with the MLA CP Module.

RA includes the following features:

  • Allows the RM to identify the specific client to be analyzed. This can be done by name, relationship number and a variety of other means.
  • Displays a P&L statement for every account that is included in the identified relationship. The statement is populated with the current information for the identified client.
  • Allows the RM to add, delete or modify accounts within relationships for analytical purposes.
  • Allows the RM to manipulate new sales and forecast the impact of these new sales on the profitability of the relationship.
  • Pre-populates with the actual, most current profit experience when modeling new account types.
  • Allows the RM to solve for certain desired variables: a needed fee level, a needed balance level, an interest rate in order to achieve a required ROE or profit level.

This very specialized module allows bank officers to analyze the impact of new sales, renewing accounts, maturing accounts, etc. All of the analysis can be done in advance of conversations with the client. In this manner the officer is better prepared to offer the client a combination of services that meets their needs within acceptable financial parameters for the bank.
